Why a Lizard Skins grip?

It stays tacky, wet or dry

DSP stands for Durable Soft Polymer. It has a slightly tacky surface, an oval pattern and multi-directional ridges that hold your hands in place through the swing whether it’s a humid July doubleheader or a wet April morning. Because the bat isn’t sliding, hitters stop death-gripping the handle — looser hands, quicker bat.

It takes the sting out

The polymer absorbs vibration on off-barrel contact instead of sending it into your hands. The thicker the grip, the more it dampens: 1.8 mm is the most cushion, 1.1 mm is the all-around favorite and our best seller, and 0.5 mm is the pro choice for wood bats when you want to feel everything.

It lasts

The reformulated DSP holds its texture season after season, and the premium adhesive keeps it locked to the handle instead of creeping or unraveling like a worn stock wrap. Every roll is 990 mm / 39 in with pre-cut ends and a finishing strip, and it fits wood, composite or aluminum.

Description

The Asura Rise Alloy is the entry point to Marucci's 2027 Asura Rise fastpitch line: one piece of aluminum, no connection joint, no break-in. Marucci builds the barrel ring-free so it flexes along its full length instead of going dead where an internal ring would sit, and keeps the swing weight balanced so a -12 actually plays like a -12 — a 29"/17oz that a 10U or 12U hitter can turn on a rise ball. The 1.75 mm Soft-Touch grip is debossed for tack and dulls the sting on the ones off the end. Certified USA Softball, USSSA, NSA, ISA and WBSC.
