Description
Pro Select sits directly under the Japanese-made Mizuno Pro line and is where most serious high-school and college players land. The shell is premium steerhide — heavy enough to hold a pro pattern through a season, but tanned for a quicker break-in than a top-line glove, so it is playable in weeks rather than months.
Two variants are worth knowing. DynaCage models carry a flexible molded thumb piece borrowed from Mizuno's footwear engineering: it reinforces the frame so the glove keeps its shape under real use while still letting the hand move naturally. SpeedRevo models focus on the same steerhide with an even quicker break-in. Everything else in the line is the standard Pro Select build.

Middle infielders 11.5"–11.75", third base and pitchers 12", outfielders 12.5"–12.75". First base mitts run 12.5"; catcher's mitts 33.5".
