Mizuno Prospect Finch Series Fastpitch Softball Glove 11.5" GPP1155F3 312731 — full-grain leather palm, pigskin back, 11.5" utility pattern, right-hand throw.
Description
Mizuno designed the Prospect Finch series with Jennie Finch, its softball brand ambassador, and shaped it from her feedback for young players learning the game. The 11.5" is the largest size in the series, for the young player whose hand has outgrown the 11" but who still benefits from a glove that closes easily. It pairs a full-grain leather palm with a pigskin back, lined with Mizuno's ButterSoft palm liner and MZO lining, which moves sweat away from the hand, and a Parashock pad in the palm takes the sting out of the ball.
For a young player, what matters most is PowerClose, Mizuno's technology for making the glove easy to close, along with Less 2 lacing, which leaves the last two lace loops out of the web. PowerLock at the wrist gives a snug, quick fit. Trident web, AirMesh back, white and black, stocked in right-hand throw.

How much break-in does it need?
Very little. PowerClose makes it easy for young players to close, and a few days of catch forms the pocket.
Is 11.5" the right size?
11.5" fits most 8- to 11-year-old fastpitch players. By about 11 or 12, most move to a 12" pattern.
Do you have it in left-hand throw?
This model is stocked in right-hand throw only. Wherever Mizuno makes a left-hand version we list it as a separate Hand option.
