Description
The Renegade is the glove Rawlings builds for the player who wants real leather without a pro-shop price. The shell is oil-tanned full-grain leather with leather lacing, so it breaks in fast — Rawlings quotes it at 80% factory, 20% player — and the high-density palm and finger pads take the sting out of hard throws across the diamond. The 12.5" first base pattern presents a wide target and a pocket deep enough to hold the ball once you have dug it out of the dirt.

How much break-in does it need?

Can I use this for slowpitch?
You can — the 12.5" pocket takes a 12" softball. Slowpitch-specific first base mitts run 13", so this will feel a touch tighter.
