Rawlings Sure Catch Baseball Glove 10.5" SC105CC — the Sure Catch is Rawlings' glove for the youngest players, built around one job: closing on the ball with a small hand. This is the Carlos Correa model, a 10.5" youth pattern in camel with gray lacing and a basket web. Right-hand throw.
Description
A 6-to-9-year-old does not have the hand strength to close a stiff glove, so Rawlings gives the Sure Catch a soft, ultra-light leather shell, cushioned finger linings and a heel cutout — the glove folds shut on the ball with a squeeze instead of a fight. There is nothing to break in; it plays from the first practice.
Camel shell and palm with gray lacing and binding, a silver Rawlings script and Correa's signature stamped in the palm. The closed basket web hides the ball and gives a young infielder or pitcher a deep, secure pocket. Adjustable hook-and-loop wrist strap for a snug fit on a growing hand.

Ultra-Soft Leather Shell, Zero Break-In
Soft, lightweight leather that closes out of the box. Cushioned finger linings make the ball sting less, which is what keeps a young player from catching with the palm.
Heel Cutout — Easy Close
A notch cut into the heel of the palm lets the glove fold around the ball with far less hand strength than a standard glove. It is the Sure Catch feature that matters most at this age.
10.5" Youth Pattern, Basket Web
10.5" is the right length for a 6-to-9-year-old infielder or pitcher. The closed basket web is a deep, forgiving pocket that holds the ball once it is in.

What age is a 10.5" glove for?
Roughly 6 to 9 — tee-ball through coach-pitch. Once the player is 10 or playing kid-pitch, move up to 11" or 11.5".
Does it need breaking in?
No. The shell is soft enough to close on day one; the heel cutout does the rest. A few games of catch and the pocket is set.
