Rawlings Clout Bats

Clout is Rawlings' one-piece alloy bat. The barrel walls are not a single thickness: Rawlings ran the barrel through generative design software and let it set the wall in 1/8" slices, so the sweet spot is larger and more even than a conventional alloy. The current Clout AI models use Red Alloy+ (the USA -10 is listed as AZ105 alloy) with thin walls, a stiff one-piece feel, no break-in and a loud metallic sound at contact.

The rack runs the full ladder: a 2026 alloy tee ball -11 in 24" to 26", a Junior Big Barrel USSSA -11, a USA -10 with a 2 5/8" barrel, USSSA -10, -8 and -5 with the 2 3/4" barrel, and 2025 and 2026 BBCOR -3 models from 31" to 34". Rawlings backs the Clout with a one-year manufacturer warranty. Prices run from about $51 to $200.

Why buy an alloy one-piece

An alloy bat is ready to hit the day it arrives, costs less than a composite, and gives a firm, direct feel that a lot of hitters prefer. The Clout adds the variable-wall barrel from Rawlings' generative design work, which is the same idea as the Mach AI without the composite end cap. It is the sensible first big-barrel bat for a young player and a solid, low-cost BBCOR for a high school hitter who wants a traditional alloy swing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Clout balanced or end-loaded? The tee ball, youth and USSSA models are balanced. The 2026 BBCOR is described by Rawlings as built for end-loaded power.

Which stamp do I need? Tee ball and the USA -10 carry the USA Baseball stamp. Junior Big Barrel and the -10, -8 and -5 youth models carry USSSA 1.15 BPF. The -3 models are BBCOR for high school and college. USSSA 14U moved to BBCOR in 2026.

Does an alloy bat dent? Alloy can dent from hitting rocks, dimpled cage balls or extreme cold. Normal game and practice use with real baseballs is covered by the one-year warranty through Rawlings.

Clout or Mach AI? Same AI-shaped alloy barrel family. The Mach AI adds a carbon composite end cap for a lighter swing at the same barrel size; the Clout is all alloy and costs less.
