Marucci Cat 8 Bats

The Marucci CAT 8 is a one-piece alloy bat from the generation between the CAT 7 and the CAT 9, and Marucci refined the design for two years before releasing it. The barrel is AZ105 alloy, the strongest aluminum Marucci had at the time, which allows thinner walls for more barrel response and better durability. Variable wall construction thins the inside of the barrel where possible to push the sweet spot farther up the barrel, and the AV2 anti-vibration knob keeps mishits from stinging.

What we have left are closeout USSSA 2 3/4" big barrel models in -8 and -5. The -8 is for the travel hitter who wants more mass than a -10; the -5 is for the strong, older player. Prices run from about $65 to $80.
