Description
The D1-HS sits one step below the D1-PRO HS in Diamond's high school line. You still get the cushioned cork center and a grey wool winding, and the cover is premium full-grain leather. It meets NOCSAE standards and carries the NFHS stamp, which is what most state associations require for a legal high school game ball.
For a lot of programs this is the sweet spot: a real leather, wool-wound game ball that costs less than the D1-PRO HS but is a clear step up from the yarn-wound DOL-A HS and DOL-1 HS. Buy it in 2-dozen packs for game day and keep the cheaper Official League balls for practice.
