It starts with a cushioned cork center, adds Diamond's finest grade grey wool winding, and finishes with an ultra premium full-grain leather cover, the same tier of hide used on the D1-PRO DS professional ball. It carries the NOCSAE and NFHS stamps, so it is legal for sanctioned high school games anywhere those marks are required.
This is the ball to buy when your program wants the closest thing to a pro ball that still passes the high school rulebook. If you only need a legal game ball at a lower price, the D1-HS uses the same cushioned cork center with a step-down winding and cover, and the DOL-A HS and DOL-1 HS are the value options.
