Diamond DOL-A OL Official League Tournament Grade Baseballs - 2 to 10 Dozen
Description
The DOL-A OL is the Official League version of Diamond's 'A' build: a cushioned cork center wound with yarn under a full-grain leather cover. Diamond lists it for intermediate and youth play, and it is the same construction as the DOL-A HS and DOL-A USSSA without the stamps, so it is the ball to buy when you want that softer, tournament-grade feel and do not need a sanctioned mark.
Against the DOL-1 OL it trades the cork-and-rubber core for the cushioned cork center, which gives a truer feel off the bat and a little less sting for younger hitters. It is a step below the DOL-MVP OL, which adds a premium grade of full-grain leather. For high school programs it makes a good practice ball that plays like the game ball.

What is the difference between the DOL-A OL and the DOL-1 OL?
The DOL-A OL has a cushioned cork center; the DOL-1 OL uses a cork-and-rubber core. Both are yarn wound with full-grain leather covers.
Is the DOL-A OL the same ball as the DOL-A HS?
Same construction. The HS version adds the NOCSAE certification and NFHS stamp required for high school games.
Is it legal for Little League or USSSA games?
It carries no league stamp. Use the DLL-1 for Little League and the DOL-A USSSA where the USSSA mark is required.
Why no single dozen?
Baseballs ship free, and a single dozen does not cover the freight. Two dozen is the minimum; a full case is the best price per ball.
