Marucci Baseball Bats

(151 products)

Marucci is the bat you see most in high school and travel-ball dugouts, and this is the whole line: the CAT X RCKLESS family in BBCOR, USSSA, USA, junior big barrel and tee ball, in one-piece alloy, hybrid and full composite builds plus the Rewind colorways; the CATX2 value line in BBCOR, USSSA and USA; prior-year CAT X, CAT 9 and CAT 8 at closeout prices; the torpedo barrels; and the pro-model wood bats that started the company: AP5, CU26, AM22, Rizzo, Freeman, Posey and the rest.

Which CAT? The CAT X RCKLESS alloy is the one-piece, hot-out-of-the-wrapper bat most high school and travel hitters swing. The RCKLESS Hybrid puts the same barrel on a composite handle for less sting; the RCKLESS Comp is the full composite with the biggest sweet spot. The CATX2 is the same idea a tier down in price. Youth hitters get the same barrels in -5, -8, -10 and -11 USSSA and USA stamps.

Shop by league on the BBCOR, USSSA and USA pages; prior-year Marucci is marked down on the closeout baseball bats page. Marucci fastpitch and slowpitch are on the Marucci softball bats page. Free shipping from Anaheim, CA.

The Marucci metal line-up

  • CAT X RCKLESS – one-piece alloy, balanced, ring-free multi-wall barrel; the flagship. BBCOR -3, USSSA -5/-8/-10, USA -5/-8/-11, JBB -10, tee ball.
  • CAT X RCKLESS Hybrid – alloy barrel on a composite handle; stiff feel, less vibration.
  • CAT X RCKLESS Comp – two-piece composite, biggest sweet spot, needs a short break-in.
  • Rewind – RCKLESS builds in throwback colorways.
  • CATX2 / CATX2 Connect / CATX2 Composite – the value line, same three constructions at a lower price.
  • [CAT X](/collections/marucci-catx-bats), CAT 9, CAT 8, CAT 7 Silver – prior generations on the closeout page while they last.

Wood

Marucci's pro models are cut from hand-selected maple with the same pattern each player uses in the majors: AP5 (Albert Pujols), CU26 (Chase Utley), AM22 (Andrew McCutchen), RIZZ44, FREEMAN5, POSEY28. Youth versions are on the youth wood bats page.

Frequently asked questions

RCKLESS alloy vs. Comp? Alloy is stiffer with more feedback and no break-in; composite has a larger barrel and softer feel. Contact hitters usually prefer alloy; hitters who miss the sweet spot prefer composite. The Hybrid splits the difference.

Is the CAT X RCKLESS legal for my league? Buy the stamp your league requires: BBCOR for high school and college, USSSA 1.15 for travel ball, USA Baseball for Little League and other USA-stamped leagues.
